Eligibility for Ph.D. Admission Test (PAT – 2022)
The eligibility for appearing in Ph.D. Admission Test 2022 are as follows:
- Candidate shall have a master’s degree with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade ‘B’ in the UGC 7 point scale (or a equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed).
- A relaxation of 5% is allowed for SC/ ST/ EBC/ OBC/ Differently-Abled categories of candidate.
- A candidate shall ordinarily be permitted to pursue research for Ph.D. degree in the subject in which he/she holds Master’s degree.

Procedure for Ph.D Admission Test 2022
The written test has been divided in two parts.
Paper 1st – 100 Marks
Examination will be conducted on OMR sheet and there will be negative marking.

- Group C – 30 Marks – 2×15 = 30
